The following is a copy of the notice of our dear mother's death published in the Westminster papers. It was written by my dear sister Anne (Mrs. R. B. Norment) and her tribute, though brief, contains a world of meaning.
DIED
In this city, on the 1st inst., at the residence of her son-in-law R. B. Norment, esq., Mrs. Susan V. wife of the late Rev. Ulysses Ward, of Washington D. C. in the 77th year of her age.
The radiance of her beautiful life lights up the gloom of her absence, and bids us follow her as she followed Christ.
