Diary of her brother Rev. James Thomas WARD (1820-1897) 13 Jan 1882 - Before we reached Baltimore yesterday, the spirit of my dear sister Miranda V. Feinour had departed from her wasted body to the land of fadeless glory. About an hour before the event, having asked the dear ones about her to make her position in the bed as easy as possible, she lifted her eyes toward heaven, and in feeble but distinct tones repeated these lines: "Just as I am, without one pea; But that Thy blood was shed for me; And that Thou bidd'st me come to Thee; O Lamb of God! I come - I come!"
