Viola Betty Anderson, 79, Beaver Dam, a former Arkdale area resident, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, at the Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Anderson was born Aug. 26, 1930, in Arkdale, a daughter of the late George and Katie (Allen) Anderson. She went to Hilcrest Elementary and later to the Friendship High School.

She was married to Donald George Stormoen. She later was married to Elmer Kraft.

Survivors include one son, Richard (Mary) Stormoen, Friendship; four daughters, Shirley (Kerry) Schroeder, Beaver Dam, Rita (David) Walkowicz, Almond, Bonnie (John) Taylor, Iron Furnace, Ill., and Barbara Kraft, Plainfield; three sisters, twin, Vivian (Egund) Nelson, Camp Douglas, Joan (Marshall) Awalt, Newport, N.C., and Jeanette Bandt, Friendship; two brothers, Charles (Helen) Anderson, Arkdale, and Everette (Janet) Anderson, Biron; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Alvin Anderson; and an infant granddaughter.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, with Pastor Terri Skildum officiating. Interment will be at the Monroe Center Cemetery in the town of Monroe in Adams County.
