Annie Christensen Sindberg Madsen was christened as Ane Christensen Sindberg in Hjerm Denmark. She came to USA with her parents and siblings in 1881. Soon after landing in Wisconsin she, age 13, married Christian Madsen, a fellow Danish immigrant. They lived in Antigo WI where they had 4 children, Mable Laurine (1884-1961), Jessie Kathrine (1889-1968), Max Clive (1891-1964), and Clarence William (1897-1981) Then after moving to Ferndale Washington they had a 5th child, Alice Marie (1909-1982). From then Annie and Christian lived in Ferndale to the end of their days.
