Chico Weekly Chronicle Record, Saturday, March 10, 1888, pg 2 col 5: Funeral of Harry Fuller. One of the saddest funerals ever held in Chico will be that which is announced to take place from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W.H.H. Fuller this forenoon at 11 o’clock. After a short and severe illness their son Harry died, as was announced in this paper yesterday morning. We assume the subject to more fully express the deep sympathy which we feel and which is felt by the entire community. Harry was a youth of 17 years, universally esteemed for his virtues and many excellencies of mind and heart. As a companion to his father in the telegraph office he will be sadly missed; but as the bright and cheerful spirit of the home circle, the void will be most severely felt. He was of remarkably pleasant disposition, always polite and gentlemanly, correct in his words and habits. There is a future life. To it Harry has been “promoted.” He escapes the trials and dangers incident to this world and secures a crown of life at an early stage of existence. He is not dead nor sleeping; but living in the heavenly home, with God and his angels and the redeemed from the earth.
