Obituary
JACOB HUFFORD, of 891 William Penn Highway, Cresson, died last evening in his home after an extended illness. He was born in Gallitzin Aug. 28, 1882, a son of William and Sarah Hufford, and married Clara Noel who preceded him in death.
Surviving are five children, Mrs. Esther Darling of Harrisburg, Walter J. of Clayton, Del., Raymond P. of Cresson, and Russell and Charles of Altoona; 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Pearl McIntosh. Mr. Hufford was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson.
Friends will be received in the Casher-Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, from 7 to 10 p.m. today, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday.
