Mildred Brant, 78, of Olney, died at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 22, 1995 at her home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem with David Beaty officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Friday).
Brant was born May 25, 1916 in Edwards County, the daughter of Grant and Bessie (Briggs) Densmore. She married Lendoris Brant May 7, 1949 in Olney.
She was a director of Housing Authority of Edwards County for 10 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church in West Salem. She also was a member of the Pinochle Club in Parkersburg and a charter member of the Olney Antique Study Group.
She is survived by her husband, of Olney; three daughters, Joyce Mullinax, of West Salem, Joan Hamdorf, of Lakewood, Colo., and Jeanette Hortin, of Olney; a son, Robert Hilgenberg, of Oak Forest; a brother, James Densmore, of West Salem; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Brant was preceded in death by her parents.
