Ronzel L. Marks, 67, of Orma, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division.
He was born in Calhoun County, the son of the late James Curtis Marks and Lucy Holcomb Marks. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam, a former minister, and a foundry worker in Orrville, Ohio.
Surviving are three sons, Eric Marks of Orma, Jeff Marks of Wooster, Ohio, and Jason Marks of Canton, Ohio; one daughter, Becky Johnson of Michigan; three brothers, Rev. Carl Marks of Arnoldsburg, Lester Marks of North Carolina and Curtis Ray Marks of Orma; four sisters, Kathleen Sohar of Creston, Ohio, Virginia Brady of Greensboro, N.C., Wanda McCumbers of Orma and Vickie Chastain of Shoals, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Marks; three brothers, Darrell, Delmer and Basil and one sister, Rosalee Bennett.
Services will be held Thursday , 1 p.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Carl marks officiating. Burial will be in Elmira Community Cemetery, with military graveside rites. Visitation was scheduled Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
