Missing Oysterman

Funeral arrangements have been set for a Franklin County man who drowned while oystering.
Friends and family will gather at 9 a.m. Wednesday (July 21) at the Revell Cemetery (839 Sopchoppy Highway) in Sopchoppy to remember 41 year-old George Sanders. And the service is open to the public.
Officials believe Sanders drowned after he fell off an oyster boat on Thursday. His body was discovered at Bird Island, near the Apalachicola Bridge on Sunday. Autopsy results have not been released.
He is survived by his wife, a 17-year-old daughter and four-year-old son.
