MRS. W. B. HUNT OF ROCK HILL DIES
ROCK HILL - Jan. 15 (Special) - Mrs. Mary Estelle Legion (Ligon) hunt, 64, died early this morning at her home after a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday a from the First Presbyterian Church by Dr. H.D. Brown, pastor, assisted by the Rev. B. G. Hawkins and the Rev. J. C. Cammack. Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Hunt was born and reared in Fairfield County, daughter of the late William T. and Emma (Nancy Jane) Bingham Ligon of Fairfield County. In 1908 she was married to W. B. Hunt of York and had been living in Rock Hill since 1916.
She was a member of the Rock Hill First Presbyterian Church and was active in church affairs.
Survivors include husband W. B. Hunt of Rock Hill; three sons, Forest L. of Marietta, Ga., and Thomas B. and Carlisle Hunt of Rock Hill; four daughters, Mrs. J. C. (Helen) May, Mrs. Herbert (Kathleen) Blackwell and Mrs. Marion O. (Willie Mae) Brooks of Rock Hill, Mrs. S. T. (Laura) Mikeal of Charlotte, N. C. ; one brother George Ligon of Rock hill; one half-sister, Mrs. Lonnie Steele of Rock Hill; three half-brothers, Robert and Arthur Ligon of Rock Hill and Roddey Ligon of Spindale, N. C., and 13 grandchildren.
The body will remain at the Bass Funeral Home until hour of the service.
