St. Clair - Barbara D. Anderson, age 76, of St. Clair, died Tuesday, June 29, 2005.
Barb was born Sept. 23, 1928 in Smiths Creek to the late Russell and Fonda Beach.
She married Ross Anderson July 12, 1948.
Barb owned the Anderson Insurance Agency in St.Clair. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star, the Nomads, and was a member of the St. Clair Golf Commission.
She is survived by her children, Marsha Robertson, Cameron (Cathy) Anderson, Robin Anderson, and Lori Anderson; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; one broether, Dan (Jan) Beach; and sister, Elaine Housel.
Besides her husband Ross, she was also preceded in death by sisters, Mary Boulier, Emma Campbell and brother, Laverne "Bud" Beach.
Private family burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday from the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.Arrangements are by L. C. friederichs and son funeral Home.
