Lloyd married Angeline Baffa and had two sons. He worked in manufacturing in Toledo for a number of years and as a painter. Later he stayed with his parents during their declining years and oversaw the homestead.
Lloyd was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses of Fostoria. Robert Claycomb officiated at the funeral. Larry Price, Tim Powell, Robert Belknap and Richard Bonawit were pall bearers.
