The son of Jeff and Elizabeth Whisenhunt Baze, he came to Blanchard from Texas in 1909, and was former president of First State Bank in that place, as well as a merchant. He came to OKC in 1929 and was involved in real estate, retiring about ten years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie H., and a daughter, Gene, of the home; a son G. T. Baze jr., Fort Worth; a brother, Dr. W. J. Baze, Chickasha, and a sister, Mrs. H. P. C. Evers, Brady, Texas.
