Katherine "Kate" was married once before to Albert Maywood Crum (1866-1895), they were married in 1893. They had one daughter, Maud Marie (she changed her name to Marie Elizabeth (1894-1972) according to information supplied by her granddaughter through her daughter Betty Crowe). Albert died in 1895. Kate remarried to Robert L. Wright in 1898. She took on the role of mother to Robert's children, they had one more child, Robert in 1900. They had a total of six children between the marriages.
