Ebba Finlayson, 94, died on Friday, Nov. 15, In Sandy, Utah at the home of a daughter and son-in-law after a lingering illness.
Ebba was born Oct. 24, 1891 in Sandy to Charles and Ingrid Pehrson Lindell.
She gracualted from Jordon High School and the University of Utah and taught school two years in West Jordon and one year in Hooper School in Weber County,
Following her marriage in the Salt Lake Temple in June 1915 to Allen Milton Finlayson, they moved to Pocatello where Allen buildt their home and their two oldest children were born. They moved back to Sandy and later lived in Magna and Idaho Falls, and moved to the Trail Canyon area north of Soda Springs in the early 1940s where they had purchased a farm and lived approximately 15 years. They moved into the Tigert home on South First East during the winter months while the youngest son, Robert attended and graduated from the Soda Springs High School.
Survivors include three sons, Allen L. Milan, New Mexico, Richard A., Soda Springs, Robert Milton, Salt Lake City; two daughters, Mrs. Perry (Marcia) Warner, Soda Springs, Mrs. Park (Idonna) Stapley, Sandy, Utah; 13 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters. She was preceded in death in October by her younger sister, Theressa Franconi.
Family attending the services also included Julie Perkins, Chesterfield, Loralyn and Samatha Wilcox, Soda Springs, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Robinett and three Children, Pocatello, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Finlayson, Temple View, New Zealand.
Burial was in the Sandy City Cemetery.
