He worked in Quality Control at Ford Motor Co. 30 years. He was a member of Westpoint Christian Church, Russiaville, a life member of Greenfield Moose Lodge and Fortville American Legion, A Member of the Pilgram of Moose, Greenfield Elks Lodge No 1720 and McCordsville Masonic Lodge. He was an avid woodworker.
He is survived by a daughter Marcia Penry of Greenfield Aa son Aaron C Quakenbush of Columbus, Ohio; His mother of Frankfort; a brother Carl M Quakenbush of Frankfort; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son James Aaron Quakenbush in 1984; asister Mary Kathryn Quakenbush; and a brother Harley Quakenbush, Jr.
