Sgt.James Arthur Hillhouse Jr. (Red), Served his Country in the Korean War, WW11, and helped liberate the Philippines. He worked as an Army translator, he could speak 13 different languages, and could read and write 9. He also served on the Air-Sea Rescue Craft. He made several rescues, and assisted in saving 15 lives. His decorations are as follows...

Daddy owned and operated Highlands Auto Parts in Highlands, Texas for many years. It consisted of a Gulf gas station full-service (self-service was unthinkable back then) and an auto mechanic's garage.
Different members of the family worked for him from time to time. Also he helped support many family members when they went through hard times.
