Roger Jacob Bowers was born on January 31, 1909, a son of Clarence Calvin and Laura Margaret Freshman Bowers and was the husband of Mildred Louise Funk Bowers who survives him.
In addition to his wife he is survived by four daughters, Nancy B. Roschili and husband, Richard A.; Barbara Louise Stoner and husband, Thomas Joseph; Susan B. Maloney and Linda Ann Fearnow and two sons, Michael R. Bowers and Stephen R. Bowers.
Roger was a sibling of the following sisters, Jean Plumer; Pauline F. Bowers; Marguerite Agnes Bowers; Helen Walter; Nellie Elizabeth Naylor; Ethel Ann Little and Adeline Rita Plumer.
