Stafford passed away at his home in Weston's Mills, NY., where he had lived for the past 49 years, after a long illness. He was a member of The First Baptist Church and an honorary member of the board of deacons. At the time of his death he was survived by his wife, Louise Love; Two sons, James C. Love of Austin, PA., and Hershel S. Love of Chicago, IL: One grandson, Robert H. Love of Chicago: Two sisters, Mrs. Teresa Parks of Weston's Mills and Mrs. J.W. Scott of Calgary, Alberta, Canada: Four brothers, H.A. Love of Lindhurst, Ontario, Canada, J.B. Love of Brookville, Ontario, Canada, G.A. and W.S. Love, both of North Augusta, Ontario, Canada. The funeral was held at his home in Weston's Mills, NY. on Sept. 8, 1930. His Estate was left to his wife, Louise, and at her death or remarriage, the residue left to his sons, J.C. Love and Hershel S. Love.
