OBITUARY :
CALEB N. WOLFE, well-known farmer of Detour, died Sunday at noon at his residence, aged 77 years. He observed his birthday Saturday, when he was stricken with paralysis. He had been in failing health for some time.

He was a son of the late Daniel and Rebecca Gaver Wolfe and was a native of Frederick County. He was a member of the Old German Baptist-church of Beaver Dam.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Fannie Winfield Wolfe: these daughters and sons: Mrs. John Baugher, Woodsboro; Charles N. Wolfe and Mrs. Ruth Fritz, at home; Grover Wolfe, Bruceville; Mrs. John Fritz, Mrs. Scott Fritz and Mrs. Harry Lambert, New Windsor; Mrs. Mary Schuldt, Sykesville, and Mrs. Edward Clingin, Taneytown.

Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers, Daniel Wolfe, Mt Pleasant, and Albert Wolfe, Myersville, and a sister, Mrs. Victor Cline, Pen Mar.

Friends may call, at the late residence from 7 to 9 o'clock Tuesday evening. Services will be held at the late residence at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Elders David Stitely and George Strasburg will officiate. Interment will be in Beaver Dam cemetery. The family requests that flowers be omitted. D. D. Hartzler and Sons, funeral directors.
