Mildred Joice Smith, 73, of Marble died on March 11, 1996 at her home. She was born on May 3, 1922 in Qualls, Oklahoma to Commodore and Dollie Annie (Bowman) Davis. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Troy Dean Smith; her brother, Alvin Davis; and her sister, Ovia Adams. Survivors include her sons, Boyd Gene Smith of Tontitown, Lonnie Everett Smith of Huntsville, Loy Ray Smith of Berryville, Loyd Smith of the home, and Martie "Casey" Smith of Farmington; her daughters, Glenda Willis of Fayetteville, Mary Ruth Morin of Huntsville, Pearl Arlene Vasquez of Marble, and Wilma Jean Reynolds of Kingston; nineteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Marble United Baptist Church with Rev. Alvin Reynolds and Rev. J. W. Walker officiating. Interment will be in Lower Campground Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
