Henry was born in Indiana in 1840. Married Elizabeth Kesler on November 11th 1860. He served in the Civil War from August 1862 to April 27th 1863 from Co F87 inf. He served under General Buckridges in Louisville, Ky against General Bragg. He later served in Co G155 in Vol infantry from March 30th 1865 until July 1st 1865.
Henry and Elizabeth had 11 children however only 2 survived to adulthood.
Henry died a short time after Elizabeth on October 9th 1875 possible from Typhoid fever.
