Son of John and Martha E Baldwin.

From Robert Hood #47401072:
U.S., Civil War Soldier Records and Profiles, 1861-1865: Enlisted in Company F, Iowa 13th Infantry Regiment on 15 Oct 1861.Promoted to Full Corporal on 07 Nov 1863. Mustered out on 21 Jul 1865 at Louisville, KY.
Additional information from Robert Hood:
While death certificate states Quincy was born in Monrovia, Indiana, in 1842, parents were in Grant County in 1840 census and 1850 census. Makes no sense that they would, for whatever reason, move over 100 miles to Monrovia in Morgan County, then move back to Grant County. Think information on death certificate is incorrect.
