Irene married a Mr. Hentzsch in the late 1940s and became the mother of her first son, Klaus-Peter.
After Irene could later divorce, son Jürgen was born in August 1956. She later married again and took the family name Pause. This marriage was also divorced.
For many years she lived with her son Jürgen in the old federal states of Germany, before the two moved to Lutherstadt Wittenberg at the end of the 1990s.
Here she died in 2001 or 2002 probably by consequences of diabetes.
