Sandy was my cousin... Sandy was born with a defect in her heart. At that time she was known as a "Blue Baby" When she was old enough to have the corrective surgery , age 13, the surgery went well. However, a few days later her kidney's began to shut down and thus ended her young life.Even though Sandy was frail, she never let that stop her. She LOVED the Boston Red Sox!!! Sandy also had a Cocker Spaniel named,STAR, that she adored. She would have Star in dog shows and was very proud of his ribbons. Sandy did ballet, loved to be at the lake at Johnson's Pond and had a special name for me;"Cousin It." :) She was younger so she could get away with that! Sandy was the Flower Girl at my wedding 3 years before she passed. We all miss that sweet girl but know she is in a much better place with Jesus!
