Rhodes Services Held Saturday At Mountain View
Services for L.T. (Pete) Rhodes, Mountain View, brother of Bode Rhodes, Carnegie, were held Saturday at the Mountain View Baptist church. Burial was in the Sappington cemetery, near Cowden.
Rhodes died Wednesday in an Oklahoma City hospital.
He was born in 1893 at Jacksboro, Texas. He and his parents later moved to the Cowden community in Washita county. In 1948 he was married to Katie Belle Harris.
He is survived by his wife; two brothers, C.E. "Bode" of Carnegie, and Lester of Mountain View; two sisters, Mrs. Nola Walters, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Oma Tidwell, Cordell.
