Walker & Emily Brown had seven children that I can find: Jim, Frances, Mary, Will, Manda, Luther, & Sarah. Frances was my grandfather's mother. She married James H. Davenport, son of Claiborne Davenport & Elizabeth Tollet sometime after May, 1879. James 1st wife had died in 1879 several days after giving birth to Thomas Davenport, who died the day he was born. James died before my grandfather was born & paternity is really questionable because of the timeframe we have; Frances died when my grandfather was about 10. Walker & Emily raised my grandfather after that.
