Mrs. Anna Belle Allen, 81, of Route 1, Markle, Ind., died
today at the Wells Community Hospital. She was born August
28, 1891 in Wells County, a daughter of Emmett and
Corinthia Gorman Sink. She was married to Clarence R. Allen
in Bluffton, November 4, 1911. He died in May, 1971.
Surviving are a son, Owen of Markle, Rt. 1; a daughter, Mrs.
Ralph (Ruth) Patton of Markle, Rt. 1; a sister, Mrs. Hubert
(Clara) Crum of Bluffton; four grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at the Elzey Funeral Home
in Ossian, Barry Barkley and Don Reynolds will officiate;
burial will be in the Hoverstock Cemetery at Zanesville, Ind.
