OBITUARY: Lansing State Journal May 20, 1937

DURAND - Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday from the Morris funeral home here for Mrs. Elizabeth B. Conrad, wife of Elmer L. Conrad of Bancroft. The Rev. Joseph Chapman of the Methodist Episcopal church in Bancroft will officiate. Interment will take place in the Fremont cemetery.

Mrs. Conrad has been ailing since a year ago Christmas and died in a Pontiac hospital of pneumonia and eryalpelas Tuesday morning.

Mrs. Conrad was born in Indiana October 7, 1889, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bowmar and with her husband has resided in Bancroft 20 years. She was a member of the Bancroft chapter Order of the Eastern Star, the Rebekahs and the Methodist Episcopal church.

Surviving, besides the husband, are two sons, Charles COnrad of Flint and Duwain at home and a daughter, Mrs. Dale Gulick of Owosso. Mrs. Conrad also cared for two nieces for the pat 10 years up to the time of her serious illness.
