Moses was a Soldier of the American Revolution. Pennsylvania Veterans Burial Cards has: Moses Tyler, b 27 Jun 1766, d 11 Apr 1854. Revolutionary War Veteran - Army. Note that there were at least three Moses Tyler/Tylor's in the war. I am now pretty certain he was a young 16 year old when he joined in 1782 as a Fifer; was a Private; and served in Capt. Rufus Lincoln's Company. He was 5 ft, 7 in. tall, with light hair and complexion. He was a farmer.
