Dr. Frank W. Dennie
Dr. Frank W. DENNIE, 87, retired veterinarian and long-time resident of Newcastle township died Saturday at his winter residence in St. Petersburg, Fla.
He was born Oct. 7, 1887 at Bourbon to A. J. and Minnie WILLIAMS DENNIE. His marriage was July 8, 1908 in Newcastle township to Edith ROUCH. She died Aug. 15, 1968. Dr. Dennie was employed 30 years with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He was a graduate of Chicago Veterinary college. He was a member of the First Baptist church in Rochester ad a 62-year member of the Masonic lodge in Morgan Park, Ill.
Survivors include half-b rothers, John DENNIE, St. Petersburg, Fla., Chancy DENNIE, Argos; half-sisters, Mrs. Ruth HUFFMAN, Argos; Mrs. Herman (Dorothy) McCALL, Rochester; Mrs. Daisy SHAW, mentone; Mrs. Nellie PERSON, Warsaw; Mrs. Orpha FISHHOFF, San Leandro, Cal.; four nieces, Mrs. Loren TITUS, South B end; Mrs. Bulah RITTER and Mrs. Thelma HALL, both of Lakeville, and Mrs. Louellen WHOOSTEE of Michigan, one nephew, John ROUCH, Clevelad.
Final rites will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home. The Rev. Donald MAUGHAN will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Rochester. Friends may call at the funeral home where the Masonic lodge will conduct memorial servides at 7:30 p.m. today.
