Helen M. Hieronymus, 88, died Sept. 24, 2010, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. She was born May 19, 1922, in Roswell, N.M., the daughter of Otto and Myrtle Riley.
Helen was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Santa Barbara, Calif. Her late husband was the Dean of Westmont College, Calif. She enjoyed being the "dean's wife." Helen was very proud to be a wife, mother and grandmother.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Pamela Hieronymus, and granddaughter Danielle Hieronymus of Prescott Valley; great-grandchildren Preston Stratton and Aidan Hieronymus of Prescott Valley; as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren living in California. Survivors also include her sister Janice Holland of San Diego, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frank L. Hieronymus; son Gary Hieronymus; her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Karen Hieronymus; and great-granddaughter Liliana Hieronymus.
Burial will be Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at Santa Barbara Cemetery, Santa Barbara, Calif.
