Cly — Phyllis R. Adleblute of Cly, Newberry Township, died at 10:20 p.m. Feb 22 at her residence. She was 77.
Mrs. Adleblute was co-owner of Adleblute Inc., a general merchandise store in Abbottstown, founded by her husband.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Newberry Township.
She was also a member of Shiloh American Legion Post No. 791 Ladies Auxiliary; James A. Danner Post of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Etters; and Goldsboro Fire Company Auxiliary.
Born in York March 27, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Bertha Shelly Kohr. She was the wife of the late Charles O. Adleblute.
She leaves her companion, Arthur J. "Skip" Fritz; two daughters, Diana J. Hancock of Inverness, Fla., and Deborah Stackhouse-DeBurkarte of Dover; a son, Charles R. "Pete" Adleblute of Dover; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Erma Martin of Cly; and three brothers, Lewis Kohr of Starview, and Wayne Kohr and Donald Kohr, both of Cly.
Viewings are 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at William E. Little Funeral Home Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, and 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 880 Pleasant Grove Road, Newberry Township. The service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church with her pastor, the Rev. Brad Gilbert, officiating.
Burial is in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
