Mrs. Margaret J. Foster, 94, Juniata Gap, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday morning, Jan. 11, 2005, at Altoona Center for Nursing Care after an extended illness.

She was born Feb. 9, 1910, in Altoona, daughter of George B. and Mary Vienna (Cornelius) Smouse. She married Kenneth M. Foster May 23, 1929, in Altoona. He died May 7, 2002, after almost 73 years together.

Mrs. Foster attended First Baptist Church while physically able. Margaret taught Sunday School and child evangelism classes at Calvary Baptist Church and Lakemont Bible Conferences for more than 40 years.

Surviving are a daughter Donna Jean; a son Kenneth M. Jr. and wife, Dolores, all of Juniata Gap; three grandsons: Terry, Joel and Brian Foster; five great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at William G. Bigelow II Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home by the Rev. Robert D. Grossman and the Rev. Charles F. Kiloski. Interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
