Henry Robert Banks aged 78 years, 10 months and 7 days died at the home of his daughter Mrs. J.R. Stevens, 402 Florence St., Tuesday evening. at six thirty. His death was sudden and due to a sudden attack of organic heart trouble. He came to this city from his farm to make his home with his daughter last October and has been in fairly good health since his arrived but the intense weather of the winter has caused him to weaken and he gradually declined, until death came to relieve his sufferings. The deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Banks and he was born in this county March 6th, 1848. Burial will be in Rocky Fork Cemetery.
Robert Banks whose death was referred to in these columns yesterday was married to Miss Sarah Maria Depew on July 4th 1868. To the union 10 children were born, 5 of whom besides the wife and mother proceeded him in death. Those of the children whom survive are Mrs. Eva Maybury, Mrs. Mary Stevens, Mrs. Eliza Moats and Misters Robert and Mark Banks of Rocky Fork. The funeral procession will leave the home at 10 O'clock Friday morning and go to the Rocky Fork Church where the services will be held. Burial in Rocky Fork Cemetery.
Three of the children born to this union who's deaths were never recorded or place of burial.
