Robert Earl, the ten-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Abell, died Friday at his parents' home. He had never been strong but was bedfast only three weeks. He was born in LaGrange and leaves besides his parents, four brothers and one sister, Wendell, Leonard, Bernard, Homer and Eva Mae, also one grandparent, Sam Graham, of Quincy. Rev. E. H. Dunning conducted the funeral service Saturday afternoon in the Roberts funeral chapel. Mrs. George Green, Mrs. Jacob Hutchinson and Miss Fern Logan sang. Miss Dorothy Cook of Taylor and Miss Fawn Logan sang. Miss Dorothy Cook of Taylor and Miss Fawn Logan were the flower girls. Four boys, William Cottrell, Sam Logan, Billy Roberts and Arnold Vancil, were the pallbearers. Burial was in River View Cemetery.
