THE TOMB
Died--At William Jewell College, Liberty, Mo., October 25, William David Conrad, eldest son of D.P. and Amanda Conrad.
He spent his vacation last summer with his father's family, and left us only a few short weeks ago, full of bright hopes of future usefulness in his chosen and beloved work, that of preaching the gospel of Christ. He was a young man of fine abilities, a true and consistent christian, and was a favorite with all who knew him. It is very hard to believe it best for him to be taken away. To us short-sighted mortals his death can not accomplish the good that his example and good works would have done. His parents and brothers and sisters have the heartfelt sympathy of the whole community.
