Rowdy Smallwood started his trip to heaven from Children's Hospital in Aurora, CO. on Sunday, October 3rd, 2010. Rowdy was critically injured in an accident on September 5th. A Celebration of Life service is planned for all who wish to attend on Friday, October 8th at the First Baptist Church at 15th and Canby at 2:00 PM with Pastor Stephen Salmans officiating.

Rowdy was a wonderful, energetic little cowboy, full of life and love. Rowdy touched many hearts and lives in his short nine years. Rowdy was a third grader at Spring Creek Elementary School. He was a member of the Laramie Outlaw Hockey Team, the Smoking Guns 4-H club, and Wyoming Junior Rodeo Association. Rowdy loved the outdoors, four wheeling on his quad, taking care of and riding his horses Reggie and Apache, as well as caring for and training his special 4-H goat Sylvester.

Rowdy enjoyed playing organized T-ball, flag football, hockey, motocross racing and most recently began riding horses and attending, placing, and winning various rodeo events across the state.

Rowdy is survived by his mother and father, Stacey and Jason Smallwood of Laramie, WY; grandparents; Floyd and Judy Smallwood of Cody, WY; Bill and Shirley McGary of Laramie, WY; Jim and Laurie Streeper of Grover Beach, CA; Ken and Glenda Hahn of Cody, WY and many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving family members.
