Diana Lea Bailey, born April 14, 1949 and a lifetime resident of both Island and Skagit counties, entered into rest unexpectedly Feb. 26, 2009, at her home in Mount Vernon.
Her father, David Vernon Walker, and her brother, David Charles "Mike" Walker, preceded Diana in death. She is survived by her mother Doris Walker of Sedro-Woolley; her siblings, Suzy Fortino of Everett, Nancy Lenz of Stanwood and brother Rick Walker of Sedro-Woolley; her two children, Karen (David) Huff and Rusty (Donna) Bailey, as well as her five grandchildren, Brooke Huff, Chelsea Huff, McKayla Bailey, McKenzie Bailey and Mollie Bailey, all of Coupeville. She is also survived by her loving dog "Sassy." A private family graveside service will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery in Coupeville and a Life Celebration party will be held on April 18 at the Jenne Farm in Coupeville.
