Albert Cornell, aged 60, died at his home on the Dr. Heaton farm on Saturday, July 22, of heart disease. Although Mr. Cornell has been in failing health for the past two years, his death was very sudden. Mr. Cornell was born in Canada and came to Canton when five years of age, living here ever since. He has lived for more than 20 years on the farm where he died. His funeral was held on Monday at 2pm with services conducted by the Rev. C. H. Fenton, pastor of the Episcopal church, and interment in the Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Cornell was married in 1875 to Adelaide Laddison, of Canton, who died 16 years ago. He is survived by two sons, Leslie and Stanley of Canton, and two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Badlam, Syracuse and Bernice Cornell of Canton. He also leaves four brothers, Joseph, Springfield, Mass, Romell, Fitchburg Mass, Dan, Canton, and Frank, Watertown, and two sisters, Mrs. Edward Seabert, Potsdam and Maggie Cornell of Canton.
