Following is a short death notice for Nellie Canon that gives additional information for her memorial

Body of Former Armstrong Lady is Buried There
Mrs. Cornellus Canon [Nellie Maude Holman Canon] of Bowersville, Minn., who passed away at the hospital at Hewitt, Minn., Tuesday was brought here Saturday for burial in the Armstrong cemetery. Two of her children are buried here. She was a sister-in-law of G.W. Canon, whose funeral was held here Tuesday of last week. Rev. and Mrs. Canon resided here 23 years ago and will be remembered by the older citizens. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon. Her husband, Rev. C.V. [B.] Canon of Bowerville, and sons Meyvan V. of Hampton, Neb., Clarence H. of Winnebago, Minn., and Miss Lela Lovell of Winnebago attended the funeral. They remained a few days with relatives here before returning to their homes. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, January 30, 1929)
