Richard A. Hay, Jr. passed away Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. He was born July 21, 1959 in Belleville, NJ. He moved to Gainesville in 2008 after retiring from the U.S. Navy. He was a member of New Waves of Glory Church in Kingston, GA and attended Passage Family Church here in Gainesville. Survivors include: Daughter Tiffany Hay, Norfolk, VA. Sons Emmanuel Hay, Gainesville, FL. Sean Hay Jacksonville, FL. Mother Madeline Hay, Willingboro, NJ Sister Wanda C. McLean, Willingboro, NJ. Funeral Services for Mr. Hay will be held on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Passage Family Church 2020 N.E. 15th Street Gainesville, FL. Interment will follow at later date at Jacksonville National Cemetery under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home 18 N.W. 8th Ave Gainesville, FL. Visitation Sunday, 2:00-5:00 PM and on Monday at the church one hour before the service. Family member are asked to meet at the church at 9:30 AM.
