It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Georgina Lawrence (nee Wert) on Saturday, October 2, 2010 in Brockville, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Bert Lawrence. Cherished mother of Susan Morris (Bill) of Campbellville, Cynthia Milligan (Larry) of Spencerville and Brent Lawrence (Engie) of Spencerville. Predeceased by her sons Stephen and Baby James. Special Grandma to Stephanie, Robert, Tim, Krysta, Mathew and Brigitte, and loving Great Grandma to Hunter. Dear sister of Peter Wert (Donella) of Ottawa, Betty Clark (Bill) of Elliott Lake, Gary Wert (Liz) of Maynard, and sister-in-law of Reg Wert of Prescott. Predeceased by her brother Jim, her sister Audrey Cameron and brother-in-law Bill. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Grant Brown Funeral Home Purcell Chapel, Spencerville on Wednesday, October 6th from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Thursday at 2pm. Interment Spencerville Union Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Spencerville United Church or a charity of choice.
