Seb was born in Gary, Indiana, and named after his mother's father Sebastiano TRIPI.

Seb was a skilled tradesman, an electrician and a welder. He also did carpentry, and helped build his first home.

Seb learned to play the soprano sax at Holy Angels School, and he played in the band for Indiana National Guard.

Seb married Mary HOZDOVICH on September 13, 1935, and together they had four children who are still living.

Seb enjoyed flying his private plane, listening to the music of John Phillip Sousa, and studying his Bible.

Seb and his wife moved to Florida in 1962 with their children, and owned a home on Lansdale in North Fort Myers.
