Linda Renee Briggs-Kelley, age 47 passed away at Methodist Northlake Campus on September 8, 2010 at 8:05 am in Gary.
She was preceded in death by her father, Abner D. Briggs; sister, Vanessa A. Briggs; and son, Derick C. Jackson.
She is survived by husband, Darrell Kelley; mother, Pamela Briggs; two daughters, Michelle Tyler, Nikita Briggs; one son, Demond Welch; two stepdaughters, Racquel Welch and Angela Welch; one stepson, Carlton Welch; two grandsons, Derrick and Jeremiah; three sisters; two brothers; and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed.
Viewing is Thursday, October 7, 2010, 1:00 - 7:00 pm at chapel. Funeral Friday, October 8, 2010, 1:00 pm at miller First Baptist Church, 5601 e. 4th Ave, Gary, in. Pastor Burnside officiating. Interment Oakhill Cemetery. All services entrusted at Powell Coleman funeral home.
