Sharon Herald obituary:

John F. Soules, 8135 Lorain St., Masury, died at 11:46 am Wednesday (6-14-89) in Sharon General Hospital after a five-week illness. He was 77.

Mr. Soules was born in Masury Aug. 4, 1911 to Charles and Rachel Jenkins Soules.

In 1982, he retired with 34 years of service from Sharon Steel Corp., where he was employed in the cold roll department.

A Navy Veteran, he served during World War II.

His wife, the former Daisy M. Wright, whom he married Oct. 21, 1932, died in 1987.

Surviving are two sons, Elliston L., Green Bay, Wisc., and Larry A., Masury; a daughter, Lorene Litman, Newport News, Va., five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, a brother and a sister.
