Deseret News, March 29, 2000, Page: D06. Louise Hemming. Our cherished mother, Marion Louise Williams Hemming, passed away March 28, 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah during the beautiful springtime surrounded by her family. She was born August 17, 1920 in Salt Lake City to Clifford and Marion Lloyd Williams. Louise graduated from East High School and the University of Utah where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She married Wallace Reid Hemming on June 24, 1943. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Wally died in 1961 at the age of 44, which left Louise alone to raise their four children, which she did valiantly, cheerfully and successfully. She enjoyed a full and rich life of travel, attending the performing arts, socializing with her many friends, and being together with her family. Louise was an angel on earth giving a lifetime of service to all around her. She enjoyed serving in many church positions and especially loved the Relief Society and Primary.

Louise is survived by her children, W. Reid of Salt Lake City, Gregory L. (Sandra) of Castle Pines, CO, Holly (Lee) Van Dam and April (Glenn) Dalton of Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Carter, Allison, Brooke, Mindy, Kamron, Tyler, and Justin; great-granddaughters, Merriman, Kendall, and Georgia; brother, Grant (Joyce) Williams of Florence, OR; and many dear friends.
