William Clayton Orrill was born in Connersville, Indiana. He married Amanda Ellen Harlan on 04 Apr, 1900 in Cottonwood Falls, Chase County, Kansas.

His parents were Allison Watson Orrill & Rebecca Francis Biddison.

ORRILL, William C., age 76, of 2127 Walnut Street, passed away at the family home Wednesday, July 9, (1952). Mr. Orrill had resided in Bellingham for the past 45 years and was retired owner and manager of the Book Exchange. He was a veteran and a member of the Spanish War Veterans, Wiesenberger Camp No. 8. He was also a member of the I.O.O.F., Rising Star lodge No. 79, the Holly Rebekah Lodge No. 153, Modern Woodmen of America, No. 5198, and the Maccabees, Tent Hive No. 1, and the Washington Club. Surviving relatives include the widow, Mrs. Amanda Orrill at the family home; one daughter, Mrs. Irene Bentley, of Bellingham; two brothers, Edgar P. Orrill, of La Junta, Colorado, and Harry P., of North Hollywood, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Addie Benson, of Emporia, Kansas, and many nephews and nieces. The remains rest at the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth, where services will be conducted Monday, July 14, at 1 p. m. by the Rev. W. Carl Calhoun and officers of the I. O. O. F., Rising Star Lodge No. 79 and Spanish War Veterans, Wiesenberger Camp No. 8. Cremation.
