Lyle Joseph Latendresse was born in Hugo, Minnesota, on May 28, 1919 to Frank & Frances Latendresse. He was the 5th child of 13. Lyle graduated from St. Paul's High School in Marion, Indiana, then went to Notre Dame University, in Notre Dame, Indiana, where he received a degree in business. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II and while stationed in Baltimore, Maryland, married Esther Jacob. They owned a hardware store for a few years in Decatur, Illinois then moved to Texas, and then Grants Pass, Oregon and Tustin, California. They later moved back to Phoenix, Oregon. Lyle and Esther had four children: Michael, who died in an automobile accident at age 17, Sarah, Patrick, and Timothy. Lyle was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will always be in our thoughts.
