Mrs. A. C. Bowne, 82, died at her home near Centralia Sunday evening at 6 o'clock after a long illness of paralysis.
She is survived by four children Mrs. J. R. Stites and W. A. Bowne of Centralia, and Miss Ida and S. J. Bowne, Jr. of the home; two brothers, Jeff and Henry Teeters of Ohio and four sisters, Mrs. Wesley Moore, Mrs. George Argenbright, Mrs. Jesse Winners and Mrs. Victorial Bradley, all of whom reside in Ohio.
Mrs. Bowne was born in Ohio and came to Missouri many years ago and has resided on the farm on which she died, for the past 58 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at Appleman's Chapel north of Centralia at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Egan Herndon and burial will be in the cemetery at that place.
